A good online presence can bring in all sorts of benefits, including new clients and networking opportunities. Are you making the most of your time online? Here are some tried and true tips that I use on a daily basis to grow my personal real estate business.

3.  Use Facebook insights to see what’s working not not working.

7.  Post about local neighborhoods in your area of service.

8.  Engage your followers with contests. Be sure to follow Facebook promotional guidelines or risk having your campaign removed.

Twitter Tips for Realtors

9.  Character limit for tweets: 140 characters. Aim for 120 characters, leaving extra room for replies and retweets.

10. Tweet blog posts, and make a point to remarket older posts at least once a week.

11. Use @mentions to keep in touch with your clients/followers.

12. Always thank followers who retweet your content.

13. Create lists to organize your contacts. This is a great way to organize your feeds.

19. Send relevant pins to your followers to encourage engagement and develop relationships.

20. Don't forget to hashtag your pins. Again, no more than 2/per pin.

21. Disable e-mail notifications. Learn how to here.

22. Create group boards, and allow your followers to add their own pins. Some ideas: decor ideas, home renovations, home hacks.

24. Schedule your pins throughout the day using a 3rd party software for increased exposure.

25. Don't forget to add a link to your website on your profile description.
