Many people moving to, or within, the Greater Sacramento area are looking for newer homes at reasonable prices. If you're looking for a safe, quiet area to call home, look no further than West Roseville.
Located west of Woodcreek Oaks Blvd., you'll find many great neighborhoods in West Roseville including Blue Oaks, Solaire, Placer Ranch, and amazing master planned communities like Westpark.
Westpark is a 1,500-acre development that will have 5,800 homes when it's built out. Builders in Westpark include Centex Homes, Pulte Homes and Lennar Homes.
This community is slated to have 42 acres of parks along with 350 acres of open space, so it certainly won't feel too crowded.
Solaire is a 400-acre development south of Pleasant Grove Blvd., near Barbara Chilton Middle School. The area has land set aside for a future elementary school, plus parks and open spaces. There will be 1,300 single-family homes in the community
The first lots in Solaire (30 acres worth) were sold to Woodside Homes, which began building there last summer.
Schools in West Roseville
West Roseville has some of the best schools in the entire Sacramento area.
Fiddyment Farm Elementary opened in 2013 and boasts a phenomenal 9/10 score on greatschools.org. Barbara Chilton Middle School is also very-highly rated.
In addition, there's Junction Elementary School, Quail Glen Elementary and Cooley Middle School.
Suffice it to say, if your kids are in elementary or middle school, West Roseville is an ideal place to call home.
Another bonus when it comes to the are is how close West Roseville is to the Roseville Aquatic Complex. The complex is a popular recreational attraction thanks to the Summer Sanders Olympic-size competition pool, a zero-depth recreation pool with beach entry, a thrilling 150-foot water-slide, and a fun children's interactive water play area.
