Gold Rush Beer Crawl (Gold Rush Days)
September 4th, 2015 6:00pm-midnight Old Sacramento, Sacramento, CA Tickets: 21+ only. Tickets $10
Take a step back in time and celebrate Sacramento's rich heritage by attending the Gold Rush Beer Crawl on Labor Day weekend. This event which takes places in historic Old Sacramento is part of the Gold Rush Days festivities. For $10 participants get craft beer samples (6-9 oz pours) at one of many Old Sac bars including the River City Saloon, Vega's Underground, O'Mallys Irish Pub, and Fanny Ann's Saloon.
Wolf Fest 2015
September 12, 2015 12:00pm-7:00pm Orangevale Chamber of Commerce, Orangevale, CA Tickets: In advance: $15-$25; At the door: $35
Join 101.9 The Wolf for 7 hours of live country music in Orangevale Community Park. This day long music extravaganza is headlined by the Eli Young Band. Others slated to perform include The Cadillac Three, Waterloo Revival, David Fanning and Blackburn Bullet. Festival Attractions include inflatables, a mechanical bull, food and beverage vendors and retail vendors. Kids 12 and under receive free admission when accompanied by an adult.
Ringling Bros B&B Circus Presents Circus Xtreme

A family favorite returns to Sacramento for one night only. The Ringling Bros B&B Circus Circus Xtreme tour features an action packed lineup of exotic animals including elephants, horses, and lions, in addition to death defying acrobatics and stunts. Fun for the entire family! Tickets can be purchased in advance. We recommend going to the all-access pre-show (open to all ticket holders one hour before showtime) where the kids can meet the performers, and get up close and personal with the animals.
California Brewers Festival

Last year, we told you that the about Sacramento's must see event: the California Brewers Festival, and this year looks better than ever. Now celebrating its 21st year, participants can sample beers from over 65 different breweries including local craft and artisan beers. As always there will be delicious food truck delicacies and live music bands playing all day. The best part? Part proceeds of the event support local charities and causes. We highly recommend getting a VIP ticket for this event. Not only do you get a great souvenir mug, but first access to all the delicious beers 30 minutes before everyone else. If you love live music, then Folsom LIVE is for you. Dozens of live bands take to the live stage for a one night music extravaganza spanning many different genres. This year's lineup includes Shana Morrison, The Deadlies, The Rising, The Cripple Creek Band, Arden Park Roots, and many more. Festival goers who purchase a rock star ticket gain fast track entry into the event, rock star bar access, rock star bathroom access & an exclusive Folsom Live blinkie mug. Ticket price includes a free shuttle service, which takes you to and from the venue.
